Our First Mini Goal

Our first mini-goal is the Waco Zoo.

We have walked 41.33 miles to-date so far! The Waco Zoo is 99.44 miles away from our home.

The Destinations There are many destinations that I want to take my son. I want to explore the entire United States with him! I know I do not have all the resources in the world to be able to do this with him. It's unfortunate. Yet I have come up with a list of 20 places that I believe will be excellent places for us to travel to, together. I want to show my son the most interesting places that this world has to offer. Of course, I need to start off small. I can not show him Napal, without showing him...

The heatwave We haven't been able to walk much, because we are in a weather advisory. The heat is just too intense, even in the early morning and late evenings. I do not feel really safe going too early in the morning or too late at night. The trail that we do take is very safe and patrolled by police officers but for 4.23 miles a day, I do not want to put either of us at risk or in a dangerous situation. So, unfortunately, today will be close to 108 degrees. All around too hot for us to do much outdoors....
